Track Day at Thunderhill

Imagine driving your Volvo at full speed through sweeping corners, over hillcrests, and down long straightaways hitting over 100 MPH without having to look in your mirror for Johnny Law to spoil the fun. My friends the Track Day at Thunderhill Park this April 29th is the place to do just that in a safe and fun environment. If you have attended one of our other two events you know what I mean. If you have never done a track day believe me it is one of the most fun things you can do with your clothes on! If you want to participate time is running out and January 15th is our cut off date. With less than a week to the deadline the participation level is short of a Volvo only event. Running with other clubs would be a lot of fun too but we really have to get to our 60 driver attendance goal or we will wipe out the club treasury. I am not sure how many people we can recruit from other clubs.

Lee is hopeful but we would be much more likely to succeed if we had half of our goal met within our own club. Thunderhill will only hold our time for us if we put our money where our mouth is this month. I have received several requests to hold space in the event but I simply cannot do this without the money. So if you think you want to attend it is now or possibly never. Here is the current list of people for which I have deposits or payments:
