SDVSA
Christmas
2000

December 9th

By Jeff Perry

Last year's SDVSA Christmas Party was held in Bonita at the home of Mark & Diane Jankowski. A hearty dinner consisting of turkey, ham, and gobs of side dishes was complimented with a cooler loaded with fine beers. As is the club's custom, stuffed animals were collected for a children's charity and a white elephant gift exchange (with two hostile takes allowed) was held. Russ Orrell, harmonica-in-hand, provided the evening's musical entertainment.

The club presented chapter historian Jeff Perry an 1800 slot car in appreciation for "meritorious service."

The thirty-eight people whom attended this party extend a big THANK YOU to Mark and Diane. Through their preparation and gracious hospitality, this year's party fulfilled its popular tradition.
