Museum Musings Mark your calendars, there is a myriad of activity
coming your way... Coming November 13, 14 and 15 is the Chrysler Classic
Speed Festival and Retromobile USA. This event promises to be bigger and
better than ever with vintage racing at NAS Coronado on a newly improved
track and 100,000 sq ft of vendor space at the San Diego Convention
Center comprising of automobilia, parts, auto services and accessories.
Your Volvo club plans to attend the racing event and we are looking into
reserved club parking up close to the action. Watch for more details in
future newsletters. Goran Freske Our friend, "temporary" editor and publisher of this newsletter, as some of you may have heard by now, had quadruple by-pass surgery last week. He is doing fine, as a matter of fact after talking with him a few times he claims he is doing great!. He will be out of action for a little while so I have stepped in at his request to help get this issue of the newsletter out to the membership. Thanks to Russ, Jeff and Gene for contributions and anyone else I forget. A big Thank you to Goran for his enthusiasm towards the club, his attendance at just about every thing this club does and his ongoing effort to put out a quality newsletter to us each and every month.
