75,000 Swedes obtain their driver's licenses every year in a PV 444

Every year, 135,000 drivers are trained in our country. As many passing students per year have no additional schooling. Training takes place at about 700 driving schools, of which 90% are affiliated with the National Association of Driving Schools. No less than 55% of the driving schools' 2,000 training cars are Volvo PV444s. The PV444 fits perfectly with the rigors of driving school training -- it survives the abuse of many and unskilled students. The folks at the driving schools know better than most what car economics mean. Therefore, the dominant position of the 444 at the driving schools is self-explanatory.
